Argentine tango has deep folk roots. start exploring at the Tango Society of Minnesota. See it in action at the Loring Pasta Bar in Minneapolis, when the awesome Mandragora Tango Orchestra plays, most Sundays 6-9pm.

Some Notes...
This page follows (but cannot fill) the footsteps of the Tennis Shoe Tuesday Night Rag, the official organ of the University Folk Dancers, faithfully cobbled together for many years by Ceil Wirth and Jim Mork and spiced by movie and music reviews, song words, and a lot more. Long live the spirit of folk dance!
